Linh An is a New York-trained dancer-choreographer, currently based in Hanoi, Vietnam, whose choreographic works are largely influenced by Theatre Jazz style (often seen in Broadway musical productions). Before pursuing professional dance training in New York at the age of 21, she graduated from the National Economics University of Vietnam with an Excellent Bachelor degree in Business English (minoring in Business Management).

During one year in the International Student Visa Dance Training Program in New York’s Premiere dance center – Broadway Dance Center, Linh was intensively trained in theatre jazz, street jazz, ballet, and tap by New York’s Broadway professionals including Tony-Award winners and nominees such as Chet Walker, A.C Ciulla; others are Diane Laurenson, Jill Kenney, Jason Wise, Josh Assor, Karla Puno Garcia, Khori Petinaud and many more. As a result, Broadway Dance Center has honored Linh the Outstanding Student Award for her consistent diligence in learning and creating within and outside of the program: A Broadway Jazz Dance Experience in Vietnam 2019, Table of Silence Project 2018, New York Choreographer’s Forum 2019, BDC’s Professional Semester Dance Showcase 2019, etc.

Previous to Linh’s training in New York, she had been largely involved in contemporary dancing and projects during her high school years in Holland Park School, London. One of the highlights was her collaboration with the English National Ballet in London as dancer for “Dancing Parallel” dance film project, 2010, and the “Swanning Around” Project, 2010 which was showcased in the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Shanghai World Expo’s Opening Ceremony, where she was 1 out of 10 dance students across the UK selected to perform for this privileged occasion. Having a diverse educational and working background, Linh had been given the chance to assist renowned choreographers and show directors in Vietnam: Viet Tu, Nguyet Thu Dinh, etc. for commercial, live events organized by Vietnam's leading national organizations: Vingroup  – VinDS, MB Bank, Vietcombank, VPBank, Bao Viet Insurance Company, etc.

Currently, Linh is pursuing her choreographic track in multiple theatres in Vietnam; one of them is working as the lead choreographer for Vietnam Naitonal Opera & Ballet’s sold-out musical revue of Les Miserable in November 2020.
