A Broadway Jazz Dance Student Showcase in Vietnam (2019)
“A Broadway Jazz Dance Experience in Vietnam” is an introductory Theatre Jazz and Tap dance workshop series created by two NYC-based dancers and choreographers, Linh An and Johnson Brock. Total of 6 workshops were held in 3 dance centers in Hanoi (Kinergie, Unison, Le Cirque), with the participation of over 100 students from Vietnam, from August - September, 2019.
As a result, "Broadway Jazz Dance Student Showcase" took place on the 13th, September, 2019 in Hanoi, presenting Broadway-inspired dance numbers performed by students from the workshop series, featuring guest performances by jazz artists "the Fingers band" and Hanoi-based Swing/Lindy Hop communities.
